quote [ Liu is investing $10 million in the Palmetto State, building a printing-plate factory that will open this fall and hire 120 workers. His main aim is to tap the large American market, but when his finance staff penciled out the costs, he was stunned to learn how they compared with those in China. ]

quote [ The Obama campaign and many of its supporters condemned Limbaugh's intervention tactic yesterday, calling it a major factor in Clinton's narrow Hoosier State win. ]
I'm reluctant to give Rush that much credit but who knows? Maybe Obama would have won Indiana after all (in which case Hillary would have almost certainly dropped out).

quote [ After watching the returns from the North Carolina and Indiana primaries Tuesday night, McGovern said Wednesday it's virtually impossible for Clinton to win the nomination. The 1972 Democratic presidential nominee said he had a call in to former President Clinton to tell him of the decision, adding that he remains close friends with the Clintons. ]
We all know it's time. When do you think Hillary will realize it's time too?

quote [ Since the recession of 2001, the employee’s average cost of an annual health care premium for family coverage has nearly doubled — to $3,300, up from $1,800 — while incomes have come nowhere close to keeping up. ]

quote [ George W. Bush has publicly confessed that he ordered torture, thus violating the Convention Against Torture. He, Cheney, Rumseld, Rice and the other Principals must therefore be arrested and, unlike the thousands of detainees kidnapped by the U.S. since 9/11, arraigned and placed on trial. ]
It's an over-the-top rant and yet it speaks the truth. Couldn't resist posting, for old-times sake. Plus, the idea of a stand-off/shoot-out between Secret Service and DC cops is oddly compelling.
